Music City

I recently went on vacation to Nashville and it was so much fun. I am already planning my next trip down there. I’ll share the activities we did, some of the places we ate at, and where we stayed below.

Where I Stayed

The hotel we stayed it was called Clarion Hotel Nashville Downtown-Stadium. It was such a nice hotel, it had a bar, pool, fitness center, as well as a shuttle that would take you right to downtown Nashville. The shuttle was free with your hotel stay and would leave every 30 minutes. I would highly recommend this hotel if you are planning a trip to Nashville.

I am going to name my top 4 places that we ate, I have picture of some of my meals but not all.

Hard Rock Cafe

I had the BBQ pulled pork sandwich that came with apples and coleslaw on it, it was delicious.

Hard Rock was located right next to where the shuttle dropped us off in downtown.

Jack’s BBQ

I had the beef brisket with mac n cheese and mashed potatoes.

Jack’s is also located in downtown on Broadway Street. We knew we wanted BBQ and this was the place that everyone recommended. It was very good!

I don’t have a picture from here, but once again it is located on Broadway Street and I got the Country Fried Steak which is one of my favorite restaurant meals. It was the best one I have ever had.

Five Points Pizza

This was about a 7 minute drive from our hotel. It was in a very hip part Nashville which made the environment really cool. They had so many options for pizza and it was sooo good. I do not have any picture of the pizza but I did take a picture of the outside wall of the building which illustrated the overall vibe very nicely.

Grand Ole Opry

I did the backstage tour as well as saw Little Big Town perform. Both experiences were amazing.

Ryman Auditorium

This was what used to be the Grand Ole Opry and was also cool to see.

Antique Archaeology

The shop from the show, it was very small but they had some cool stuff in there.

Belle Meade Plantation

This was one of my favorite things. We got to tour the mansion as well as well as wander around the grounds. We just did the mansion tour however they also had a Jubilee Tour that showed you what it would be like being a slave on the plantation. I definitely will be doing that tour next time I go. They have a variety of other tour options as well.

Opryland Hotel

This was the biggest hotel I have ever seen, it was never ending. They have a garden inside of it which is the reason that we went. I would recommend parking across the street and walking over because parking at the actual hotel is pricey.

Ark Encounter

This was not in Nashville but on our drive home we stopped at the Ark Encounter in Kentucky. It was huge and there were a ton of interesting facts throughout.

I would definitely recommend going to Nashville there are so many fun things to do, including many things that I did not get the chance to check out.
